Description

In the medieval world of Régents, the Scottish lords are gathering at Edinburgh Castle to determine who will be named Regent, or Guardian of the kingdom, for the young Queen Margaret. As the head of a prominent Scottish clan, you'll have just 90 minutes to maneuver your agents and grow your influence over various lordly domains. With 3 to 5 players competing for the title, you'll need to strategically use your action points to outmaneuver your opponents and gain the upper hand. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to fans of board games, and its medieval and political themes add a rich layer of depth to the gameplay. As you navigate the chambers of Edinburgh Castle, you'll need to balance your influence across different realms, lest you fall behind in others. But beware - the English king, Edward I, is watching closely and may intervene to limit your clan's influence. Meanwhile, your rivals are waiting for you to slip up so they can accuse you of dark deeds and undermine your credibility.
