In the game of Hangtown, players take on the roles of Gold Rush era Pioneers competing for riches, resources, property, and prestige in the infamous town of Hangtown. The game features a variety of mechanics, including deck, bag, and pool building, dice rolling, and worker placement, which allow players to build their own tableaus of historic buildings, districts, and monuments.
