Description

In Dragon Dune, 3 to 4 players are transported to a fantasy world where four factions - the Dwarves, Elves, Goblins, and Orcs - clash in a battle for dominance. This game, designed by Vincent von Guard and published in 2017, is a thrilling experience that combines simple rules with deep strategy, making it accessible to new players while still offering plenty of challenges for veterans. With playtime ranging from 30 to 120 minutes, you can expect a fun and unpredictable ride as you navigate the world of Dragon Dune, using area majority and influence, area movement, and auction mechanics to outmaneuver your opponents. As you take turns buying artifacts, recruiting forces, and moving armies to collect gold and capture castles, you'll need to balance your military might with cunning negotiation and clever bluffing. The game's variable player powers and team-based elements add a rich layer of complexity, while the auction and bidding mechanics keep things exciting and unpredictable. With the threat of wild dragons roaming the land and the looming presence of the Red Dragon, players must form alliances, make deals, and use their magical abilities wisely to emerge victorious. The first player to control three or more castles wins the game, but beware - if no one emerges victorious after eight turns, the Orcs, patrons of the Red Dragon, will claim the land as their own.
