Description
In North Berkeley, you'll dive into the world of city building and negotiation, taking on the role of a local interest group. The game is set in 2018, a time of great change and growth in the East Bay, where the North Berkeley BART station parking lot has become a focal point for new housing development. With 2 to 6 players, you'll work together to build a plan that meets as many of your group's goals as possible, all within 30 to 60 minutes. As you assemble your political coalition, you'll need to navigate the complexities of density, affordability, and cost, all while trying to meet the needs of your constituents. With easy-to-learn rules, North Berkeley is a fast-paced game of negotiation, network and route building, where the goal is to be the one who meets the greatest number of constituent goals and rises to govern North Berkeley.
