Description
In Sailing Toward Osiris, the pharaoh's funeral barge is sailing down the Nile, and it's up to the governors to build monuments to his glory before it reaches the temple of Osiris. With no direct conflict, this euro-style game is all about timing decisions and subtle strategies as you manage resources, laborers, and project completion. You'll take individual turns, choosing from 10 possible actions, from harvesting resources to building monuments, all while trying to outdo your opponents. As the game progresses over four seasons, resource harvesting becomes less productive and viable locations for monuments become scarce, requiring creative problem-solving to earn the most glory points. With its unique blend of worker placement, resource management, and negotiation, Sailing Toward Osiris is a thrilling game for 2 to 5 players that will keep you engaged for 60 to 90 minutes. Will you be crowned the new pharaoh, or will your opponents outmaneuver you?
