Description

In Victorian Masterminds, you play as a villainous mastermind, taking advantage of Sherlock Holmes' demise to wreak havoc on London. With 2 to 4 players, you'll send your henchmen to different cities, using their unique abilities to collect materials, destroy buildings, and complete missions. Your goal is to build steampunk-inspired contraptions, each with its own special actions, leading to highly strategic and asymmetric gameplay. As you take turns placing your agent tokens, the Secret Service will be hot on your heels, trying to put an end to your evil plans. The game ends when you complete your contraption or the authorities catch up with you, and the player with the most victory points wins. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 45 to 60 minutes, Victorian Masterminds is a thrilling game of strategy and cunning, designed by Antoine Bauza and Eric M. Lang, and published in 2019.
