Description

In Emporion, players take on the role of ancient Greeks seeking to expand their domains in the Iberian peninsula. The goal is to establish a thriving trading spot and increase fame and fortune by commanding expeditions, trading valuable goods, competing to win the favor of gods, and promoting Hellenistic culture. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can enjoy this game in just 30 to 45 minutes. Players buy and collect cards to improve their armies, build constructions, trade goods, explore new lands, and perform cultural events. The game ends when a player has collected 15 cards, the deck runs out, or all prestige cards have been claimed. The player with the most prestige points, earned through trade, culture, or war, is declared the winner. This card drafting and set collection game is a fun and engaging way to experience the thrill of building a ancient civilization.
