Description
In the Pacific, a group of early sea-faring Polynesians stumbled upon the archipelago of Tungaru, a land rich in nutrients and resources. This discovery sparked a wave of colonization and cultural spread, as different tribes competed to establish their presence. In the game Tungaru, 2 to 5 players take on the roles of these early Polynesians, navigating the islands and managing resources to build their tribe's influence. Players use dice as workers, strategically placing them to recruit nomads, colonize land, and exchange goods. The game is a dynamic mix of area majority, set collection, and worker placement, with a unique twist of blind-revealed leader cards that are passed to neighboring players. With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, Tungaru offers a engaging and challenging experience for fans of medium-weight euro games, as they compete to become the most successful tribe in the archipelago.
