Description
In Priests of Ra, 2 to 5 players take on the role of priests seeking to extend their power and fame over 1500 years of Egyptian history. The game is easy to learn, but with its auction and bidding mechanics, it's full of opportunities to push your luck and outmaneuver your opponents. Players direct farmers, warriors, merchants, and scribes to build granaries, fortresses, markets, and libraries, all while trying to erect a gigantic pyramid for the glory of the Sun God Ra. The game is played over three epochs, with each round ending when the Sun of Ra track is filled. Players bid on collectible tiles, including Sun of Ra, Priests, Plagues, People, Buildings, and Pyramids, using bidding tiles to win auctions. The winner of each auction gets to take the tiles on the auction track, but beware - some tiles come with penalties, while others offer bonuses. With its unique blend of set collection and end game bonuses, Priests of Ra is a challenging and engaging game that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat for its full 60-minute playtime.
