Description

Get ready to expand your kingdom in Villages: Distant Lands, the exciting expansion to the original Villages game. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be exploring new lands and battling for control in no time. Designed by Jaron Frost, this expansion introduces 9 new units to add to your arsenal, each with unique abilities to help you claim even more land. Use the sneaky Scout to spy on your opponents, or stage a revolution with the unassuming Peasant - the possibilities are endless. As you play, you'll draw from the Distant Lands locations deck, discovering new places to fight over and changing the rules of the game with each round. With 12 different locations to explore, each with its own special properties, no two games will be the same. For example, Rogue's Retreat lets hired units escape to the discard pile, while the Peasants at Revolt Volcano begin their uprising before you even start to play. With hand management, set collection, and variable player powers at play, you'll need to strategize and adapt to come out on top. Whether you're playing with 2 to 5 players, the 30-minute playtime will fly by as you navigate the ups and downs of exploration and conquest. Released in 2012, Villages: Distant Lands is the perfect addition to the original Villages game, offering a fresh wave of challenges and opportunities for fans of civilization and fantasy games. With 48 standard cards and a sheet of rules to get you started, you'll be exploring new lands and battling for control in no time. So gather your friends, draw your cards, and get ready to explore - the world is waiting for you.
