Description
As the seasons change, the forest comes alive in Fall, a game of strategic tile placement and hidden objectives. Designed by Giampaolo Razzino and released in 2024, this 2-player game is easy to learn and can be played in just 25 to 30 minutes. In Fall, you and your opponent work together to create a thriving autumn ecosystem, placing leaves tiles to grow the forest and host its flora, fauna, and fungi. However, each player has their own secret scoring conditions, revealed only at the end of the game through unique Fox, Bird, and Flower scoring cards. As you build the forest, you'll need to try to understand your opponent's strategy and counteract it to turn the game in your favor. With a shared tableau and variable scoring opportunities, each game of Fall is a unique puzzle to solve. The game's hexagon grid and tile placement mechanics allow for clever pattern building, while the hidden victory points and end game bonuses keep things exciting until the very end. With its environmental and animal themes, Fall is a game that will appeal to fans of puzzles and strategy, and its short playtime makes it easy to fit in a game or two.
