Description

In Hermit, you embark on a solo adventure to help a hermit crab reach the ocean, and it's a journey that's as relaxing as it is challenging. The game is easy to learn, with simple rules that get you started in no time, making it perfect for a quick 10 to 20 minute play session. As the hermit crab's guide, you'll create a shore consisting of ten cards, each featuring three symbols, and place the crab next to it, with a wave looming on the horizon. Your goal is to help the crab move forward by recreating the pattern of the next shore card using a deck of six cards, each showing different symbols. You'll play one card at a time, either next to or overlapping the cards you've already played, trying to match the pattern of the shore card in front of you. As you progress, the shore cards you pass will be added to your deck, giving you more options to work with. But watch out, because the pattern you create can also cause the wave to move, making the journey shorter or longer, and even affect the number of cards you can hold in your hand. With its unique blend of pattern building and recognition, Hermit is a puzzle game that's as engaging as it is calming. As a cooperative game for one player, you'll work together with the game's mechanics to help the hermit crab reach its destination.
