Designed by Greg Daigle, this expansion adds a fresh layer of excitement to the game, introducing a new god, Kamapua'a, who brings two new tiles into play. With Kamapua'a, you'll have the chance to earn extra fruit and victory points, depending on which side of the tile you choose to use. On the front side, you'll get one fruit per turn and 2 VP per permanent fish tile at the end of the game, while the back side offers two fruit per turn and a whopping 4 VP per permanent fish tile. The expansion also includes two new islands, each offering a unique combination of fruit, foot, shell, and VP, giving you more options to explore and strategize. But that's not all - you'll also find new fish and price chips, as well as a 2 VP spear marker to spice up the game. And if you're lucky enough to fish one of the new permanent fish tiles, you'll get to keep it and enjoy 2 fish every round, replacing it with a 5 or 6 tile in the bag. With 90 minutes of playtime, you'll have plenty of time to dive into the new mechanics and challenge your friends and family to see who can come out on top. Whether you're a seasoned board game enthusiast or just looking for a new adventure, Hawaii: Kamapua'as Gunst is a great addition to your game night repertoire. With normal complexity rules, it's easy to learn and jump into, even if you're new to the series.
