Description

In Ancient Empires, you'll embark on a thrilling journey through the ages, competing to build the greatest civilization the world has ever seen. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll dive into a world of strategy and skill, managing the military, political, and economic aspects of your state. As you navigate the complexities of growth and stability, you'll need to balance your ambitions with the ever-present threat of disasters like rebellion, invasion, or civil war. With 4 to 7 players, the game is perfect for a large group of friends or family, and its 360-minute playtime ensures that you'll have plenty of time to develop your empire and outmaneuver your opponents. As you build your empire, you'll need to master the art of trading, diplomacy, and internal affairs, all while keeping a watchful eye on your military strength. The game's abstracted movement and combat system means that timing and strategy are just as important as brute force, and you'll need to think carefully about when to expand and when to hold back. With victory points awarded for the size and development of your empire, you'll be driven to create a truly legendary civilization. And even if you're defeated, you'll still have a chance to re-enter the game and carve out a new empire, making Ancient Empires a game that's full of surprises and replayability.
