Description
Autumn of Glory is a classic wargame that drops you into the midst of the American Civil War, where you'll take on the role of a commander guiding your troops through the challenges of battle. Designed by Gary Selkirk and C. Rawling, this 1995 game is easy to learn for anyone familiar with board games, with normal complexity rules that won't overwhelm. As a two-player game, you'll be pitted against a friend or foe, using area movement, dice rolling, and minimap resolution to outmaneuver and outfight your opponent. The game mechanics, including a ratio/combat results table, add a layer of strategy and tension to each encounter. With an expansion available, Grant Takes Command, you can extend your gameplay experience and explore new scenarios, but the base game provides plenty of excitement and challenge on its own.
