Description

Get ready to dive back into the world of Ave Roma with the CENSOR expansion, a game that's all about building and managing your own ancient civilization. Designed by Attila Szőgyi, this expansion promises to bring a fresh layer of excitement to the original game, which was first introduced in 2016. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be up and running in no time, competing with 2 to 5 friends to build the most prosperous empire. The game mechanics are all about set collection, trading, and worker placement, which adds a nice depth to the gameplay without making it too complicated. As you play through the CENSOR expansion, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of ancient politics and economics, where the goal is to accumulate wealth and power by collecting and trading valuable resources. The expansion introduces new scoring cards, which add a fun element of unpredictability to the game. These cards will have you competing in a mini race with your fellow players in every round, as you try to outdo each other to earn the most points. With the cards shuffled and drawn at the start of the game, you'll need to stay on your toes and adapt to the changing circumstances, using your wits to outmaneuver your opponents and emerge victorious. The playtime for the CENSOR expansion can vary from 25 to 120 minutes, depending on the number of players and the level of competition, so you can fit in a quick game or settle in for a longer, more epic struggle for dominance. Either way, the CENSOR expansion promises to deliver a fun and engaging experience, with plenty of opportunities for strategic thinking and clever maneuvering. Whether you're a seasoned fan of the original Ave Roma game or just looking for a new challenge, this expansion is sure to provide hours of entertainment and excitement, so gather your friends and get ready to build your own ancient empire.
