Description
In Battue: Storm of the Horse Lords, 2 to 4 players take on the role of Horse Lords, vying for control of the city of Tarsos. This dark fantasy strategy board game is easy to learn, but challenging to master, with a playtime of around 60 minutes. Players create and maneuver their hordes, made up of Mongolian-styled tribes and units, to gain control of key districts in the city. As players explore the city, they'll encounter unknown districts, each with its own benefits and challenges. The goal is to control the most valuable parts of the city before the endgame is triggered. With a modular board, each playthrough is unique, offering a fresh tactical experience. Designed by Jim Long and first published in 2007, Battue: Storm of the Horse Lords is a thrilling game of area majority, card play, and conflict resolution, perfect for fans of fantasy and wargames.
