Description

Bonnie Prince Charlie is a game of strategy and skill that drops you right into the midst of the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be moving your forces around a beautifully designed mapboard of the British Isles in no time. The game is all about movement, recruitment, and battle, as you try to outmaneuver your opponents and emerge victorious. Whether you're playing with a friend or a group of up to five players, the game offers a unique experience, with a two-player version and a multi-player version that builds on the basic rules. The game's components are still impressive today, with a mounted board and large, colorful counters that were well ahead of their time when the game was first published in 1976. The forces are represented by card pieces, with blue indicating the Jacobites and red indicating the Hanoverians, and forts and artillery are also part of the game. With a playtime of around 200 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to get fully immersed in the game and see your strategy through to the end. Designed by Drew Mackie, Bonnie Prince Charlie is a classic wargame that's sure to appeal to fans of the Age of Reason and anyone looking for a challenging and engaging game experience.
