Description
Codex: Card-Time Strategy is a unique blend of card game and real-time strategy, set in the Fantasy Strike universe. Inspired by video games like Starcraft and Warcraft 3, this game lets 2 to 5 players compete against each other, each controlling three different heroes. With a playtime of 45 minutes, it's a game that's easy to fit into your schedule, and its normal complexity makes it accessible to anyone familiar with board games. The goal is simple: destroy your opponent's base. But getting there is where the fun begins. You'll build up your army of units and heroes, adding cards to your deck as you go, based on the tech you've chosen to pursue. With variable player powers and a range of strategies to explore, no two games are ever the same. Designed by David Sirlin and published in 2016, Codex: Card-Time Strategy is a game that's full of depth and replayability.
