Description

Concordia: Balearica / Cyprus is an exciting expansion to the popular Concordia board game, designed by Mac Gerdts and published in 2019. This game is perfect for 2 to 5 players who are familiar with board games, as the rules are of normal complexity and easy to learn. In this expansion, players start with two ships already at sea, exploring the Balearic Islands, including MAIORICA, MINORICA, EBUSUS, and FRUMENTARIA. As players progress, they can build land colonists, which can be strategically moved between the islands to maximize their resources. The game introduces a new and interesting mechanic - a fish market, which can be combined with the new BALEARICA map or used as a variant with the base game or other CONCORDIA maps. Players collect fish as a new commodity, which can be sold on the fish market for goods, cash, or special actions. The fish market adds an extra layer of planning and challenge, making the game more engaging and fun for experienced players. With a playtime of 90 minutes, Concordia: Balearica / Cyprus offers a thrilling experience, allowing players to explore new islands, manage their resources, and trade their way to victory. The expansion also includes the CYPRUS map, providing even more options for players to enjoy.
