Description

Concordia: Britannia / Germania is an exciting expansion that brings a fresh twist to the classic Concordia game. With a double-sided map, players can explore two different regions, Britannia and Germania, each offering a unique gaming experience. In Britannia, the map is compact with only 23 cities in ten provinces, making for tight play as players start in London and Boulogne and expand their reach from the south. This setup encourages strategic planning and careful management of resources as players navigate the limited space. In contrast, the Germania map features 30 cities in twelve provinces, providing more opportunities for expansion and exploration. The addition of castles, different starting positions, and sea colonists moving along rivers introduces new options and challenges, requiring players to adapt their strategies to succeed. With its normal complexity level, this expansion is perfect for fans of the base game and experienced board game players, offering 90 minutes of engaging gameplay for 2 to 5 players. Designed by Mac Gerdts and published in 2014, Concordia: Britannia / Germania is a great way to breathe new life into the original Concordia game, or as an expansion to Concordia Venus, and is sure to provide hours of fun and challenging gameplay.
