Descent

Friends and Communities with Descent

Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure with Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Dark Elements, an expansion that brings a fresh cooperative twist to the classic game. Designed for 1 to 4 players, this expansion offers a unique experience where heroes work together to escape a nightmarish dream world. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, you'll embark on a journey that's full of excitement and uncertainty, as Exploration cards dictate which rooms and areas you'll encounter, ensuring that no two games are ever the same. In this cooperative variant, the overlord is replaced by an overlord track and a deck of monster activation cards, which control the monsters you'll battle along the way. As you navigate through the modular board, you'll have the chance to gain experience, grab items, and overcome challenges together. The Dark Elements expansion simulates a mini campaign in one night, offering all the adventure and excitement of Descent in a fully cooperative environment. Note that you'll need the Lair of the Wyrm expansion to play this cooperative adventure, but with it, you'll be ready to dive into a world of fantasy and fighting, where your heroes will need to work together to survive.
