Description
In Dominant Species: Marine, you'll embark on a thrilling journey through ancient history, assuming the role of one of four major aquatic-based animal classes - reptiles, fish, cephalopod, or crustacean. The game takes place in a vast, expanding ocean, where you'll strive to thrive in various habitats and claim powerful card effects. Through strategic action pawn placement, you'll attempt to propagate your species, earning victory points and adapting to the ever-changing environment. As you navigate the game, you'll encounter opportunities to speciate, migrate, and evolve, all while trying to hinder your opponents' progress. The game's unique mechanics, such as variable phase order and worker placement, will keep you on your toes. With its complex rules and engaging gameplay, Dominant Species: Marine is a challenging and immersive experience for 2 to 4 players, lasting around 90 to 150 minutes. Will your species emerge as the dominant one, or will the impending asteroid impact change the course of history?
