Description

Gates is the thrilling expansion to the critically-acclaimed Gate, and it's a must-have for fans of the original game. To get started, you'll need a copy of Gate, but trust us, it's worth it. Gates brings a whole new level of excitement to the table, with fresh citizens to recruit, terrifying enemies to battle, and heroic allies to aid in your quest to protect your medieval town from the forces of darkness. You'll also get to explore new locations, build barricades, and face off against the infamous ZOGAR. As a solo play tower-defense game, Gates challenges you to manage the health of your town's gate, tower, and farm, all while keeping fear levels at bay. With deck-building at its core, you'll start with a small set of cards and gradually recruit new characters to join your cause, each with unique abilities and special powers. As the enemy waves get tougher, you'll need to make strategic decisions about when to fight, upgrade, and repair. With its easy-to-learn rules and addictive gameplay, Gates is the perfect expansion for fans of horror and medieval-themed games. Released in 2022, Gates is designed by Jason Glover and is part of the Gate series, which also includes the Gnome Pack #1 expansion.
