Description
In Obsession, you're the head of a respected but troubled family estate in mid-19th century Victorian England, looking to improve your standing with the influential families in Derbyshire. Your goal is to renovate your estate, build a deck of Victorian gentry, and host prestigious social activities to increase your wealth, reputation, and connections among the elite. As you choose building tiles to add to your estate, you'll need to carefully plan to have the right staff on hand to service events and support your guests. Success will bring new investment opportunities, allowing you to further renovate your estate and expand your circle of influential acquaintances. With a playtime of 30 to 90 minutes, Obsession is a game of strategy and social maneuvering, where the player who best meets their objectives and accumulates victory points will win the hand of the wealthy love interest and the game.
