Hijacked

Friends and Communities with Hijacked

Description

In Hijacked, a tense aviation-themed game, players take on the role of negotiators trying to safely evacuate passengers from a hijacked plane. With the police surrounding the aircraft, every minute counts, and it's up to you to persuade the hijackers to surrender. Designed by Christian van Dijk and released in 2023, this semi-cooperative game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but still offers a challenging and thrilling experience for seasoned gamers. Players work together, or sometimes alone, to free as many passengers as possible, using a combination of dice rolling, card drafting, and negotiation to achieve their goals. As you play through the rounds, you'll use your two dice to take actions, such as getting passenger cards or building trust with the hijackers, all while trying to accumulate hidden victory points. With a playtime of 20 to 60 minutes, Hijacked is a game that can be enjoyed by 1 to 4 players, whether you're looking for a quick solo experience or a longer, more collaborative game with friends. The variable setup and worker placement mechanics add to the game's replayability, making each playthrough unique and exciting. Will you be able to free the passengers and persuade the hijackers to surrender, or will the police invade the plane, ending the game in chaos? In Hijacked, it's up to you to navigate the high-stakes world of aviation negotiation and come out on top.
