Description
In the Year of the Dragon: 10th Anniversary is a game where you take on the role of a Chinese ruler around the year 1000, trying to navigate a year filled with disease, drought, and Mongol attacks. The game is played over 12 rounds, each representing a month, and your goal is to prepare for the challenges ahead by recruiting people with different skills and abilities to help you survive. With a playtime of 75 to 100 minutes, this game is perfect for 2 to 5 players who enjoy economic and medieval-themed games. Designed by Stefan Feld, the game mechanics are of normal complexity, making it easy for familiar board game players to learn. You'll need to carefully plan and manage your resources to ride out the year, but survival alone may not be enough to win the game, making for a fun and engaging experience.
