With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, you can expect an exciting and action-packed experience that's perfect for 2 to 4 players. As you play, you'll use ability cards to attack and defend with your characters, taking advantage of bonuses for matching colors and action types. Each character also has unique abilities that can be unleashed with their specific cards, adding a layer of strategy and depth to the game. With variable objectives, such as rescuing a hostage or destroying supplies, you'll need to use your team to outmaneuver your opponents and interact with the terrain to score the most points. The Gran Starter Set is playable on its own in a simplified 2v2 mode, but can also be combined with other Japanime Tactics sets or boosters to play the full 4x4 game, offering endless possibilities for gameplay and adventure.
