Description

Lords & Levies is a medieval-themed wargame designed by Tin Soldiers of Antwerp, released in 2005. This base game is designed for 2 players and boasts incredibly simple rules that can be explained quickly, making it easy to dive into the action. The game mechanics are driven by campaigns and battle cards, which adds a layer of strategy and excitement to each playthrough. Players can concentrate their units anywhere on the battlefield, thanks to a color-coding system that replaces traditional left-center-right wing divisions. The game's design takes into account the unique aspects of medieval battles, such as the importance of armor quality. The symbols on the dice reflect the quality of armor, making troops with heavier armor less likely to be killed. This adds a new level of depth to the game, as players must carefully consider the strengths and weaknesses of their units. With its simple yet strategic gameplay, Lords & Levies is a great option for fans of medieval-themed games and wargames. Despite its release in 2005, the game remains an engaging and challenging experience, perfect for players looking for a fun and competitive game to play with a friend.
