Description
In Melee, you're a medieval baron or countess vying for the throne, and the only way to get it is by showing your strength and wealth. You'll need to gather your men, pay your knights, and assert your claim to the throne. The game is all about making tough decisions and taking risks, as you try to capture an opposing castle or accumulate the most land and gold by the end of the year. With easy-to-learn rules and simultaneous action selection, Melee is a fast-paced and interactive game that's perfect for 2 to 4 players. Each game is unique, thanks to the variable player powers and auction mechanics, which means you'll need to adapt your strategy every time you play. Will you spend your gold to motivate your troops and increase your chances of success, or will you conserve it for future builds and attacks? The choice is yours in this brutal and unpredictable game of medieval conquest.
