Description

Get ready for an adventure like no other with Muskoka: The Board Game, designed by Trent Hansen and published in 2022. This exciting game is perfect for 2 to 6 players and can be learned in no time, making it a great addition to any game night. With a playtime of 20 to 60 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to explore the beautiful region of Muskoka, completing journeys and collecting rewards along the way. The goal is to become the ultimate adventurer, and to do that, you'll need to navigate through twelve different locations, using a combination of land and lake travel to get around. As you move through the game, you'll be collecting "explore" cards to help you complete your journeys, and you'll also have the chance to earn "wildlife" point tokens by completing detours and visiting specific locations. These tokens come in different values and categories, such as moose, bear, deer, beaver, and loon, and you'll need to collect all five categories to become a true adventurer. But that's not all - you'll also need to accumulate at least 25 total points in the game, which you can do by completing your detour, collecting wildlife tokens, and using special cards like the "inuksuk" card, which is awarded to the player with the most wildlife tokens. And don't forget to take some time to rest and relax, as these cards can give you a big advantage in the game. With a mix of hand management, network and route building, card drafting, and push your luck mechanics, Muskoka: The Board Game is a thrilling adventure that's full of surprises. You'll need to use your wits and your strategy to outmaneuver your opponents and become the ultimate adventurer. Will you take risks and push your luck, or play it safe and focus on collecting wildlife tokens? Whatever your approach, Muskoka: The Board Game is a fun and exciting game that's sure to delight players of all ages and skill levels. So gather your friends and get ready to explore the beautiful region of Muskoka - the adventure awaits.
