Description

Ophir is a game of strategy and skill where 2 to 4 players take on the roles of influential figures in an ancient world, working together to build the Temple. The goal is to collect and deliver precious metals like Silver and Gold to the Temple, earning Victory Points along the way. To afford these materials, players must navigate the seas, collect goods, and fulfill demands at the Market to earn Coins or gain Favor at the Temple. With its easy-to-learn rules and modular setup, Ophir offers a fun and accessible experience for families and experienced gamers alike. The game's mix of dice rolling, grid movement, and set collection mechanics creates a thrilling experience, while the variable player powers and market dynamics add a layer of tension and replayability. As the Temple nears completion, players must balance their progress with the need for speed, as the game ends as soon as the Temple is finished, leaving only one player's name etched in the annals of Ophir's history.
