The rules are simple and easy to learn, making it accessible to players of all ages and skill levels. The game mechanics are centered around set collection, where players aim to gather the right combinations of characters to score points. In Oz, players draw cards from two decks, one featuring beloved characters like Dorothy, Toto, and the Scarecrow, and the other containing story cards that explain how to score points. Each round, players choose a column of cards to add to their collection, trying to create pairs and sets that will earn them the most points. As the game progresses, players must strategically discard story cards to make room for new ones, adding a fun layer of challenge and strategy to the game. With its unique blend of character collection and story-driven gameplay, Oz is a delightful and engaging card game that's sure to charm fans of the novel and newcomers alike.
