Friends and Communities with Starfarers of Catan

Description

Get ready to blast off into the galaxy with the Starfarers of Catan: 5-6 Player Expansion, designed by the renowned Klaus Teuber. This expansion pack is the perfect addition to the original game, allowing two more players to join in on the fun and exploration. With the ability to play with 5 to 6 players, the game becomes even more dynamic and challenging, as you navigate the complexities of trading, negotiation, and diplomacy with a larger group of space-faring colonizers. The expansion includes everything you need to get started, from new mother ships and playing pieces to additional cards and reusable gameboard overlays, making it easy to dive right into the action. As one of the five or six Starfarers, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure to explore the galaxy, build new colonies, and establish commercial ties with the various alien races of the Galactic Council. With careful diplomacy, clever trade, and a firm stance against pirates, you'll need to balance your resources and strategies to win the support of humanity and the other galactic races. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to fans of board games, and the 90 to 120 minute playtime ensures a engaging and immersive experience. Published in 2001, this expansion has been a staple of the Catan series for years, and its science fiction theme and exploration mechanics make it a must-play for anyone looking for a fun and challenging game night experience.
