Description
It's 60 AD and the Romans have occupied Britannia, living in an uneasy peace with the native tribes. But when the Iceni king dies, Roman greed sparks a rebellion led by the fierce Iceni queen Boudica, tearing across southeast Britain. With Roman forces spread thin elsewhere in the land, this revolt could change the course of history. In The Coin Tribes' Revolt: Boudica's Rebellion Against Rome, 1 to 4 players take on the roles of warring factions, vying for control in a game of area majority and influence. This 30 to 60 minute game, designed by Laurie Phillips, is easy to learn for fans of board games, with normal complexity rules. Players will use dice rolling, variable phase order, and unique player powers to outmaneuver their opponents. Set in ancient Britain, this game is a thrilling entry into the world of wargames, and its compact design makes it a great introduction to the genre.
