Description
The Magnates: A Game of Power is a strategic board game that drops you into the world of aristocratic intrigues and struggles for power in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Players take on the roles of magnates seeking to develop their family's power during the peak of the Polish and Lithuanian Union. With a deck of cards featuring notable family members, some capable of great deeds and others that might hinder progress, players must manage their characters to achieve the most on each plane of life in the Commonwealth. In this game for 2-5 players, you'll navigate the complexities of internal policy, external threats, and international opportunities, all while vying for prestige and landed estates. The fate of the country hangs in the balance, and if players become too caught up in their own rivalries, the Commonwealth may collapse under the pressure of neighboring powers. With its rich historical atmosphere and interactive gameplay, The Magnates: A Game of Power offers a unique and engaging experience that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat for its 90-minute playtime.
