Friends and Communities with The Red Cathedral
Description
In The Red Cathedral, you and up to three friends take on the roles of construction teams building St. Basil's cathedral in Moscow, as ordered by Ivan the Terrible. Your goal is to gain the favor of the Tsar by completing sections of the cathedral and installing decorations. The game is easy to learn, with straightforward rules, but it offers a challenging strategic experience as you try to optimize your position. As you play, you'll assign sections of the cathedral, send resources to build them, and navigate the game board to gather more resources. The iconic rondel at the center of the board allows you to choose which resources to collect and when, adding a fun element of dice rolling to the game. With its accessible rules and engaging gameplay, The Red Cathedral is a great choice for fans of economic and dice games, and its relatively short playtime of 80 minutes makes it a great addition to any game night.
