Description

Get ready to join the revolution with Viva La Revolution, a thrilling abstract strategy game for one to two players. Released in 2018, this game drops you into the midst of a fictional South American country where a rebel movement is fighting to overthrow the government. As the government, you'll stop at nothing to maintain your grip on power, while as the rebel, you'll need to gather support, legitimacy, and control to take down your opponent. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be diving into the action in no time, navigating the complexities of modern warfare and political intrigue. As you play, you'll utilize area majority and influence, dice rolling, and point to point movement to outmaneuver your opponent. The game is designed to be replayed, with the winner of the first game becoming the starting forces for the next game, and players swapping sides. This adds a whole new layer of strategy, as you'll need to think carefully about your moves and how they'll impact your chances in the next game. With a playtime of 30 to 90 minutes, Viva La Revolution is the perfect game for those looking for a challenging and engaging experience that's easy to learn but hard to master. Whether you're a fan of abstract strategy, wargames, or just looking for something new, Viva La Revolution is sure to deliver.
