Description

In Where There Is Discord: War in the South Atlantic, you're dropped into the midst of a 45-day struggle between the UK and Argentina over a small South Atlantic island. As the commander of the British Task Force, you'll need to defend against Argentine air and naval attacks while planning a successful amphibious landing. You'll have to manage limited resources, like the Royal Navy's Sea Harriers, and coordinate defense strategies with various vessels and weapons systems. As you navigate this complex and immersive solitaire game, you'll encounter challenges like variable rules of engagement, submarine warfare, and uncooperative weather. You'll also have to balance public opinion and political oversight with the need to make tough decisions on the ground. With its historical basis and intricate gameplay, Where There Is Discord offers a unique and engaging experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat for its 240-minute playtime.
