The Isle of Skye: Big Box is a modern classic tile-laying game that's perfect for 2 to 5 players looking for a fun and strategic experience. In this game, you'll embody one of the leaders of the five traditional Scottish clans, creating your own small empire to gain victory points. With a playtime of 60 minutes and easy-to-learn rules, it's an accessible game for new players, but still offers plenty of depth and complexity for seasoned gamers. Each game is different, with only four of the 24 score cards in play, requiring you to adapt your tactics and strategies to win. As you play, you'll have the opportunity to buy tiles from your fellow players, setting prices and negotiating deals to get the pieces you need. With the addition of the Randgebiete mini-expansion, you'll also have the chance to place special borderland tiles, connecting them to your existing empire and flipping them to reveal new scoring symbols. The game is all about building your territory, collecting sets, and outmaneuvering your opponents to earn the most victory points.
