Description

Keyflower: Trader is an exciting expansion for the popular game Keyflower, designed by Sebastian Bleasdale and Richard Breese. Released in 2014, this expansion adds a new layer of strategy to the original game, allowing players to explore new possibilities and interactions. With a playtime of 90 minutes, Keyflower: Trader offers a fun and engaging experience for 2 to 6 players, making it perfect for game nights with friends and family. The rules are of normal complexity, so if you're familiar with board games, you'll have no issue learning this one. The game mechanics in Keyflower: Trader are diverse and intriguing, featuring auction/bidding, modular board, network and route building, pick-up and deliver, set collection, and worker placement. These mechanics come together to create a unique and immersive game world, where players must navigate the challenges of medieval city building and economic management. As an expansion for the base game Keyflower, Keyflower: Trader introduces new village tiles, including the Trader tile, which enables players to exchange skill tiles for green keyples or even upgrade to get two keyples at the cost of one gold. This new tile also offers 3 points at the end of the game if upgraded, adding a new layer of strategy to the gameplay. Keyflower: Trader is not just about the gameplay, but also has a special story behind it. The expansion was available for a small donation with the purchase of Keyflower: The Merchants at Spiel in October 2014, with all proceeds going to the East Sheen Chengannur Trust, a charity that aims to help the needy in Kerala State, India. This unique aspect adds a touch of social responsibility to the game, making it a great choice for players who want to make a difference while having fun. Overall, Keyflower: Trader is a great addition to the Keyflower series, offering a fresh and exciting experience for fans of city building, economic, and medieval-themed games.
