In 890 Anno Domini, you'll be transported to the medieval world, where you'll take on the role of a noble, tasked with building and defending your dominion against the looming threat of Moorish raids. With only 60 minutes to build your territory and strengthen your defenses, you'll need to make the most of your time. The rules are easy to learn, so you can dive right in and start building your territory, making it perfect for a fun night in with friends or family, with 2 to 4 players able to join in on the action. As you play, you'll be collecting and placing tiles to create a thriving territory, complete with crops like lavender, poppies, and olive trees, as well as buildings like fortifications, inns, and religious edifices. But it's not just about building - you'll also need to recruit specialists and influential figures to help you gain unique powers and advantages. These characters can be recruited by matching the colors of your crops, adding a fun and strategic layer to the game. And with the threat of the Saracens always lurking, you'll need to be careful and plan your actions wisely to stay ahead of your opponents. The game is all about area majority and influence, as you try to build the strongest and most prosperous territory. Designed by Emanuele Briano and published in 2023, this game is a fresh take on the medieval territory building genre. So gather your friends, get ready to build and defend your dominion, and see who will emerge victorious in this epic battle for territory and supremacy. Will you be able to withstand the threats and build a thriving territory, or will your opponents outmaneuver you and claim victory? There's only one way to find out.
