Description

In the ancient world of Britannia, a legendary wall was built to keep the barbarian invasions at bay and maintain control over the rebellious Brigante Tribes. Beyond Hadrian's Wall is a game that takes you back to the year 122 AD, where the Roman Empire sought to conquer the northern parts of Scotland. As a player, you'll take on the role of either the Romans or one of the major Caledonian tribes, competing for dominance of Scotland. With 2 to 4 players, the game is designed to be simple to learn, with rules that can be explained quickly, making it easy to dive into the action. As the Romans, your goal is to conquer all of Scotland, while the Caledonian tribes must work together to defeat the mighty Roman Legions. However, once Rome is defeated, the tribes will turn on each other, as only one can emerge victorious. This cooperative game mechanic adds a layer of complexity and strategy, as players must balance their efforts to defeat the common enemy with their own ambitions. With its unique blend of area movement, simulation, and cooperative gameplay, Beyond Hadrian's Wall is a thrilling experience that will transport you back in time to the battlefields of ancient Scotland.
