Description

In Bomarzo, you'll delve into the mystery of a 16th century Italian park, navigating its mythological figures and supernatural forces to earn the esteem of your lord. As one of the feudal lords of the Orsini family, you'll manage a minor fief, developing it to prevail over your rivals. The game is a deep strategy experience for 2 to 4 players, with a playtime of 45 to 60 minutes, making each player's choice crucial to success. You'll carefully manage resources, perform various operations in your fief, and choose which god to ingratiate through worker placement and auctions. Each divinity requires a specific offer to concede favor, and failing to do so may unleash monstrous fury. With normal complexity rules, familiar board game players will have no issue learning Bomarzo, designed by Stefano Castelli in 2015.
