Description
Heart of Africa is a thrilling trading game where you lead a trading company seeking to make profits in the vast and mysterious continent of Africa. The game is set in the 19th century, a time when explorers like Burton, Speke, Baker, and Livingstone were making history in their attempts to uncover the secrets of the continent, including the source of the Nile. In this 60-minute game, 2 to 5 players compete to build their trading empire, using area majority and influence to outmaneuver their opponents. With normal complexity rules, experienced board game players will have no issue diving into the action. Designed by Andreas Steding and published in 2004, Heart of Africa offers a fun and challenging economic experience, where strategic area movement and turn order auctions will keep you on the edge of your seat.
