In the Emperor's Choice, you'll take on the role of a powerful subordinate to Emperor Qin Shihuang, vying for influence and recognition within the Imperial Court. With 3 to 5 players, you'll navigate the intricate world of ancient China, building sections of the Great Wall, amassing troops and carriages, and recruiting philosophers and academics. Your goal is to promote the Emperor's policies and projects, all while advancing your own standing and collecting important literature. As you play through 90 to 120 minutes of gameplay, you'll need to strategically employ characters within the Imperial Court and adapt to the ever-changing Emperor's policies. The player with the most victory points at the end of the game will be declared the winner, having successfully exerted the greatest influence and made their achievements a part of history. With normal complexity rules, fans of board games will have no issue diving into this immersive ancient-themed game designed by Hisashi Hayashi.
