Description
In Onimaru, a dark shadow looms over ancient Japan as terrifying creatures emerge from a mysterious gate to wreak havoc on the countryside. Players take on the roles of heroes, banding together to defend a village against these otherworldly invaders in a fully cooperative game. With the fate of Japan hanging in the balance, players must work together to destroy the three villainous Oni before the gate remains open forever. As players navigate the game, they'll develop their skills, roll dice to execute powerful techniques, and allocate their actions to attack enemies and protect their village. The game features modular boards, variable player powers, and a high degree of replayability, with over 1.9 million possible hero combinations and multiple difficulty tiers. With its unique blend of cooperative gameplay, dice rolling, and strategic action selection, Onimaru offers a thrilling experience for 1 to 4 players, lasting around 60 to 90 minutes.
