In The Foreign King, you'll take on the role of a influential Belgian bourgeoisie, navigating the complexities of industrialization and politics in 19th century Belgium. With the country newly independent and King Leopold I on the throne, it's up to you to build factories, expand your social influence, and increase your economic power. You'll compete with other players to build metallurgical and textile factories, vote in the National Congress, and send the King to revise provinces in your favor. As you play, you'll need to balance your industrial and political ambitions, all while trying to outmaneuver your opponents. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 60 minutes, The Foreign King is a great game for 2 to 4 players looking for a fun and strategic challenge.
