MUNERA: Familia Gladiatoria is a board game where you take on the role of a lanista, an ancient world entrepreneur with a passion for gladiatorial combat. With 2 to 4 players, you'll compete to build the most glorious gymnasium in the empire, recruiting and training gladiators to fight in arenas across Italy. The game is designed for those familiar with board games, and with a playtime of 90 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the world of gladiatorial combat. As you navigate the game, you'll manage the lives of your gladiators, from training and equipping them to betting on their victories and defeats. As you play, you'll participate in auctions to acquire the best athletes and professionals for your gymnasium, and then use your gladiators to compete in spectacles, trying to earn the most money and glory. With a mix of auction, betting, and bluffing mechanics, the game is full of strategic depth and excitement. Each duel will test your skills and push your gladiators to grow stronger and more popular.
