Get ready to dive into the world of Barrage: The Colorado Connection, the latest expansion to the hit game Barrage. Designed by Tommaso Battista and Simone Luciani, this 2024 release promises to bring a fresh layer of complexity and excitement to the original game. With a playtime of 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the game's economic and environmental themes, navigating the challenges of industry and manufacturing in the Colorado area. The game is designed for 2 to 4 players, making it a great option for game nights with friends or family. The Colorado Connection introduces a new map set in the Colorado area, complete with Construction Sites for Bridges and Areas for Productive Settlements. The rivers on the map flow through deep canyons, creating separate regions that can be connected by bridges built on the crest of dams. These bridges will allow for easier access to Productive Settlements, but be careful - once a bridge is built, the dam can't be elevated for the rest of the game. With new action spaces and a variable setup, you'll need to strategically place your engineers and manage your credits to succeed. The game's intricate mechanics, including contracts, end game bonuses, and worker placement, will keep you on your toes as you navigate the world of Barrage: The Colorado Connection.
